Hey I think it's great, they love their teams and football! What's bad is the rest of Tn. Isn't on here backing their teams like these guys.

Yeah you're right but these Middle TN powerhouses need more posters..... After all we have the overall best region in the state. Argue that.

I spent almost 20 years in Texas just outside of Odessa, home of Permian Panthers and at the time one of Texas' biggest baddest football teams. In fact the season Friday Night Lights was being written was the year after graduating.(1988 in case you wondered what season that was) I can say with certainty that everything shuts down for football there and everyone believes Texas football is best, but I gotta hand it to you  fellas here in Middle Tennessee, the coaching,programs and opponents and quality of ball is at a higher level than most states can begin to imagine. The type of programs we have here is what we all wanted back in Texas. Lets GO Blaze fans, Lets  GO Middle Tennessee. Time to show why we are the best district for football anywhere!

I second that motion, I also played my high school football in Texas and was fortunate to play in the Sec as well as professionally anf some of the programs here in TN are second to none, for instance Maryville,Oakland,Riverdale, and of course my beloved Blackman, I actually have a dog in this fight and he is not being fed this week so by the time we get to Hoover I guarantee he will be hungry and ready to eat, We are, We are Blackman, Go Blaze!!!!!!

Blackman, please, please win this game!!  If Maryville is lucky enough to meet you in the semi's, and the Rebels can "keep it close" then maybe people will stop begging Maryville to play out of State.  Represent, so we don't have too, or at least so we don't have to hear about it every year.

Why is it anytime someone mentions east Tennessee u Maryville guys automatically think their talking about the Rebels! I don't get it do u even believe ur own posts when u throw out the Maryville resume! Let me feed ur egos, everyone who knows anything about football in Tn. knows Maryville is the team they want to aspire too! This guy that said hysterical I'm pretty sure he wasn't referring to u guys. Come on get behind a fellow Tn. football team, in the end it will only make everyone here (Tennessee) look better!
