Its ridiculous that teams with losing records make playoffs. Making the playoffs use to be a reward for having a good season.I can remember when 7 and 8 win teams didn't make playoffs.

Yes everyone should load their schedules with easy wins so they look better on paper.

2005 Livingston Academy went 5-5 regular season then won the state championship. They had a stud at QB, Wilson Cates, that pretty much carried that team the entire playoffs. They beat Carter, Austin East, Catholic, Notre Dame and Lipscombe.

When Hillcrest & Mitchell were banned from postseason, BTW & Carver moved up. Forgot that would be the case, don't agree with it but it is what it is

it is the same rule that applies to all TSSAA sports.  It's fair and was properly applied.

As your team was only 6-4, I'd say that the current playoff plan benefited YOUR team in making the show this season.  I would not complain too much.  The new system will not be as good as what we have this season.
