Hate it for the girls involved. Life lessons now to be learned and explained by the adults involved.

I hate this for the players. It would have taken a lot of courage for these 15-18 yr old girls to have defied their coaches commands.

 

I think the suspensions for the coaches are in order.

Unfortunately the players have to suffer for this also.. But, I'm glad the TSSAA did something & hopefully this never happens again.

I'm trying to. Since you said you were raised here in RUCO, where did you go to school? I knew u had been to Riverdale gym and that is why I didn't use the sentence "none of you have been...."

I graduated from Eagleville. Grew up going to games in Murfreesboro. I've been blessed to be around great basketball my entire life.

Why do you choose to take out any human/emotional relevance to what's happened?  While life does go on, the sun may not be shining for quite some time in the players and families who had their high school season end like this.  A coach can be a coach for many years, but high school players only have a short time in high school. The ramifications of these coaches actions will go on long past this year.

It did hurt the kids....It is on the coaches      Possibly these two will be looking for jobs soon   It wasn't the TSSAA that made the decision to throw the game.

Unfortunate lesson to the young people that sometimes those responsible for showing you a better way will let you down. Has to be especially painful for the seniors knowing they were told to give less than 100% in their final game.
