Those Zac Helton led Central teams were tough. No 4A School on offense could do against Maryville what Central was always doing.

Could be wrong, but don't think Teague had 250 yds.  Do think Teague and Scotty Carter had over 250 together and Johnson had right at 100 yds that night.

Teague is the one who killed Maryville. I will say this right now. With a healthy Teague Halls wins state that year.

Nope, too slow for Pearl-Cohn. That Maryville team was very-very bad that year and made Halls look real good. Anderson County was good that year too and actually the team who ousted Cleveland that year and ended their 54 game streak.

God dude, keep telling yourself that. Even changing my quotes ain't going to change WB's track record. Shadowens won't have the luxury he had at Smyrna or Blackman as far as talent and without that he's average.

One small thing you are missing and 91 can see is even if the coach is average it will be 10 times better that what they have had since Meadows left!

WB has more talent than people give them credit for and Shadowens is a better coach than you give him credit for. WB will be a strong program under Shadowens. Just watch

91 i am going to just keep it real for a moment.I am very glad you all got a good coach to come in and take over a program that has been very bad for a while. You say a "strong" program, well a strong program to me is a team that consistantly wins 8 ball games a yr in the regular season and can squeak out a playoff win at least every other year.I am not sure any coach can do that at WB,with MHS and AHS and HHS all withing 10 miles of each other.MHS will continue to get the cream of the crop in Blount County and AHS will as well.WB and HHS will at best be good teams IN MY OPINION.Im glad for your team and also the excitement in Blount County for the time being.I do think it will be very hard for WB to win 6 or 7 games a year, but this is just my opinion.Good Luck to you and your team this yr!
