That's right   the Mustangs will have a set back with Johnson out  but the Mustangs will be OK and the coaches will have them ready for the WC game.

They have everybody all wrong! How's things going up there in nashville, y'all being awful quiet

 

I think we are all still in a fog after the death of one of our youngens.  It's harder to enjoy the games when you know he should be out there making us all proud and happy.  I know all schools go through this at one point or another but it's been a pretty tough year on the boys and the fans.

You have Kevin all wrong. He's one of the most knowledgeable and respectful guys on here.

I don't claim to be more knowledgeable than anybody on here but I really appreciate the compliment!

 

Also really sorry for the loss of the young man, never easy for any community to have to endure.....

I know it's been tough on the whole ncs family, we were so fortunate last year to not lose any of our young men in the car accident they had. Y'all are still in our prayers.

My opinions on some things aid on thread:

1. Facilities are horrible at WC but it's best we got.

2. Seating will b limited but who wants to sit?

3. 44 HH great looking player but he's not the only one....5 WC great looking player but he's not the only one.

4. Both teams have great coaching.

5. Both teams have speed.

6. Both teams have injuries, bumps, and bruises.

7. Both teams undefeated.

8. Both teams have fans on here with lots of opinions.

9. WC doesn't have a Wal-Mart, Huntingdon does. That could b the difference in this game. Lol the list of comparisons will continue all we. Who knows the winner until we play Friday but this does make for some good reading. Football is great with passionate fans. There is no shortage of that on this thread. Looking forward to see what our horses can do with urs. No pun intended. Two great programs with something to prove. Safe travels to all.

i thought huntingdon had the horses and wc had the polecats lol

What is the latest?

 

He's not even hurt that bad and will be playing friday night people were just joking with us that went to the Dresden Union City game friday night, or I guess trying to get Wayne County not to prepare for him or something.  They are not to fall for that.  Wildcats you gotta watch out for 2 quarterbacks Friday night Johnson the faster one pearson is the powerhouse, good luck with that.

      If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.

      You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
