Dodgen has done a good job. Haley left him Luna ,Leftwich , Quillen , Gardenhire , And others . To say he was left empty would be a joke . Luna was second in player of the year . Haley could have had as good or better record with the teams played . I for one expected this team to win 20 games and Dodgen probably did to . Two of our players could start for anybody in the district .

4life I see what your saying, but I think its a different situation. The girls last year played great team ball. Low turnovers good defense!! This team, plenty of turnovers, team ball a little shaky. I have to put that on the coach. Look at our turnovers from last year to this year. Watch the different style passes. This year its a cross court, last year it was a bounce pass. That's all on the coach. I bet the turnovers are double from last year. That's where Summit and I both see the difference. Its in the fundamentals.

This years team has much less experience than last years team. I'm ready to give Dodgen a few years to see what he can do. We gave Haley 10+ years and saw what he could/couldn't do (depends on how you want to look at it). Maybe we can at least get a whiff of making the state down the road with the new coach. Its been way too long since we have done that. Good luck tomorrow Warriorettes!

Dang what the score you act like your his brother in law or something lol we didn't turn it over because we had a point guard who is averaging bout 25 in college and three of the starters and the whole bench never even seen the court last year!Haley was fine he stepped down his call so get off his jock Your making it obvious!

Man oh man ashamed to admit that I like White County Basketball.  I mean goodness gracious, summit and whatsthescore you guys have been on the new coaches case all year long, is it justified or not I say no but thats ones judgement.  Haley left on his own and that is all fine but I have never seen anything like what you guys do, Dodgen has come in and worked hard and looks like treated the players with respect.  No one has ever said anything negitive about Coach Haley and his coaching job, record or anything but you guys always make it personal.  This years team has been fun to watch and play hard and that is no disrespect to Haley at all.  I never remember Gardenhire playing last year and was at every game but if Summit says she was a key part guess she was I mean he rode to every game last year also just like he has this year so he would know.

Good luck tomorrow girls hope to see us play again on Monday night in Cookeville.

LOL you think I'm Jimmy. I'm not going to say anything about him. I don't want to be on his bad side. But yall haven't even got the sex right. I like Haley, I've known him for years. Thought he was a good coach. I don't like the fact that Dodgen came in with a history (Smith Co.) But I'm trying to give him a chance. I hope the best for the Warriorettes and coaches tomorrow night. Good luck!!!

    • Looks like South Pittsburg added some more talent!
    • So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?
    • Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.
    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
