How is Coach Donnie Stewart now? I remember him from way back.

He's in Cookeville every year. I hang out with him at the TACA tent. He still wearing those MC championship rings. I think he was still coaching at Father Ryan last few years. Look him up if you make it down this year. He should be there hanging out with Donovan.

No such feeling at all! I will be in the press box until the start of the game...Come see me

I might just do that. We are leaving at noon headed up there in case we hit traffic so we should get there early. I twisted my back this weekend and the chiropractor said he wouldnt advise taking a four hour trip and then I having to stand for a game. I took his advice so we are gonna try to make it in 3hours and 30 minutes. You boys may have to drag me inside the gate. Happy Thanksgiving to you fellers and i hope you all have a great day tomorrow. Say a little prayer for safe travels for everyone to the game and the boys, who are coming up tomorrow. There are no shortcuts taken with this coaching staff for our boys as everything is always first class. Makes the kids feel special for sure.

First of all Happy Thanksgiving to all. Secondly, the excitement of this game has my stomach in knots so I had my turkey day this past Sunday (Lol). Thirdly, both teams deserve the win in this game and I will hate it for the second place finisher (because they are not losers). Last note, Since both teams are so evenly matched I'm going with the home team advantage to win in double overtime!

You need to ask Pujo to make special arrangements for you. Maybe they can give you a close parking spot since you have back issues.

South Pitt put 21 up on ya'll, I think Hanpton will do better than that. A lot of folks did not think Hampton could put up 40 on GCA, so they put up 61. We won't do 61, but I am very comfortable with saying 40

I have seen footage of Pitt and Hampton not even close.Hampton is sooo much better.I can easily see them putting 40 up Fri.Not saying they will in the playoffs teams play different but very capable!

    • Congratulations to Huntingdon and Station Camp. Lots of good softball in Tennessee. Alcoa been media favorite last two seasons.
    • Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!
    • No doubt. ORC a good dude.
    • In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
