I noticed all Grider did was spot the ball and say 1st down and blow that durn whistle. Ain't he the durn coach, not a referee?? What is this mess???

I garuntee you Grider should have taken that $3 he charged and paid a durn umpire. Grider and his coaches need to be on the sideline. This aint no durn little fellars ball anymore. You think im joking but im not.

Pirate Mike I would say you and pride hit it straight on the head. This team will be dangerous and very fun to watch. The thing I liked the most was the consistent catching of the football from our receivers. It was no secret we got pushed around last year so shout out to coach Peek for working their tails off! All in all, I thought every area was greatly improved, even team chemistry, and when you have good talent, coaching, and team chemistry....watch out...

Powerp you are full of mess. I looked chemistry up in my webster dictionary and it said it was a type of science. Our boys are not studying science out on Griders field. You are already going to make some other coaches real mad if they read this mess. You must have got a new computer. Maybe we can get pegleg to toss it out of his plane next time he goes up. You think im joking but im not.

      A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.

      For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!

      They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
