We're gonna need to figure something out with the running game. We moved the ball tonight but it was a lot t tougher sledding than it shoulda been. It was kinda cool to see a defense actually play a safety where you would expect to see them on the field and not 3 yards off the ball, heck sometimes there were 2 of em out there :roflol:

Meigs will be a tough test. Coach Lambert will have you fellers ready. Think LJ and Coby may come with Chambers to the game.

Went and saw AE play Scott tonight. Not very impressed with AE. The QB is the real deal and couple skill guys that's quick but not very big or fast overall. It woulda been a different ball game had Hall not got hurt. Now for the Tribe and Meigs gonna be a tough one just like last year. Good to hear the pigskin is in the air!!

Champ, we only have 4 starters returning. Lots of youth and little speed and size. We do have a couple of athletes but we're not beating many teams to the edge. Line is smaller than a typical Oneida line and they're all young. This is a group that will work their tails off though, NOBODY will out work this group. They'll improve a lot as the year goes on so they should surprise a few folks and they should be really fun to watch for the next couple of years. Got some young ones out there that should be deadly in a couple years.

    • It’s a small town and they are in the same school system. People talk and can pull up records on their personal devices.
    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
