There will be way more kids that die if theres no football than ever would otherwise. These games they're playing are about to start having serious consequences. I hope we all play ball man. I actually pray we play ball.

I think the privates can still practice just like the rest of the state. This only applies to all metro school sports and extra curricular activities.

You are correct. The letter is "asking" all schools to wait till after Labor Day. The Director of Metro Schools is enforcing it in her district. Each private and charter school are free to make their own decision on whether to abide by it or not. It is NOT a directive. Read the letter.

Have heard the same but also have heard Ensworth, Father Ryan and CPA have said the will follow it as well.  Cannot testify to that as fact though.

How is that? first practice will be Sept. 8th and then 3 weeks practice makes Sept 25th. metro will miss 5 games as it stands

Practice in pads with contact, first day allowed. Then 3 weeks to prepare to play
