East gets hammered by Father Ryan and you have them as the #3 team in Nashville?  Just asking!

I would take Overton at #3.  They aren't good, but have a non-covid win in the books and have scored more than 8 pts....and I'm counting the 1 point that East got for the covid win.  And that 1 point is greater than their rushing yards on the year.  Sounds brutal, but all factual.

Hillsboro should still be 4th and Overton 5th. Hillsboro smacked Overton in a scrimmage before the season. Then it doesn't matter who falls where because 5-11 could beat each other any given night.

For whatever reason athletics at most MNPS are atrocious when compared to the counties that surround Davidson County.  I truly wish that I could wave the proverbial magic wand and fix the problems.  The real problem is that there are so many different issues within MNPS its not an easy fix.  MNPS system is so large and out of control it may be that Davidson County should be divided into multiple school districts that are much smaller and easier to manage.  It is my understanding that Memphis has done something very similar recently.  Apparently Shelby County Schools and Memphis City Schools combined to have one school system but it was such a disaster that they now have several school districts within Shelby County.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
