Maryville will roll. Congrats to Region 1 for going 5-3 last night against Region 2. It just proves that even the big boys in the SEC can lose out of conference.

I'll tell you Red Rebels,I'd love to have had a better reason to come down there instead of watching my school play a tough 2nd round game. I'm sure several more former DB parents would have liked to  as well.Love the kids but when someone does your own kids wrong it's hard to have to look at them for more then a second or two.Really wish my kids could have played for a coach and program like you have.Not saying you will win this week,nobody knows,but atleast they would have been treated with respect for all the hard work they done to help their program out.Win or lose this week,I'll be watching the Rebels play in the future because I really enjoy the football and their fans are not to bad either !

Yeah, I know. My attempt at BS was pathetic. But there is a point to this silly idea. Why play you guys again. We know the outcome. And this ridiculous idea that we put more points up on you guys than anyone else was because several of your starters were out, right. This was at least implied by some of your posters. So this time, in truth, it will be revenge time for Maryville, not DB. DB will simply come to play some more football - just for the fun of it and to fulfil an obligation. Everybody knows what will happen. You'll score to about 50 something, take the 1st and 2nd strings out and put the 3rd string in. DB will score once or twice at that point.

 

This assumes that most of your starters are back. Are they?

 

On top of it all, that big ole band won't be there. They'll be in Indianapolis competing in BOA Grand Nationals after winning BOA Regionals in Winston Salem for the 5th straight year, and placing 3rd in Atlanta Super Regionals. That's what I want for DB football. Serious leadership. I want to meet you guys in playoffs and have a real chance to beat you. Revive the tradition for the kids. Then I could get back into DB football - which I love to watch and support.

The big ole band won't be there? That sucks. Maybe another 10 minute halftime like last night.

Yes we had several starters out when we played yall And a couple went out during that game. Most of them are back but we have a couple more that didn't dress last night. I'm not sure if they will practice this week. I know its become a running joke about your band but I hate to hear that they aren't coming. But I'm sure they will do well if not win their competition. Hope yall bring the crowd that you usually do to Maryville. I think it will be a better game than you do.

Looks like we get a rematch, if we can get by Blackman. With Copeland back, I would like to see that. Not saying we would win because of that, but would love to see what we can do.
