Always fun to watch CRB and CBN play a game of chess!

The Alcoa defense played its typically bend but not break against CRB's pass happy offense. This Grace team already looks and plays like CAK. The Rams will surprise some teams this season. 

Alcoa needs a little more time on the pass game, but ran the ball well when they had too.

My few takeaways:

I came away somewhat impressed with GCA. Offense should get better every week. 

Alcoa D looked good (as always).

Alcoa needs to keep working on the offensive side of the ball. As butch jones says "need more explosive plays".

What kind of team is Corbin? Has anyone done their homework. My thoughts on crossing the state lines to play aren't very good since I remember when I was in school we played Middlesboro ,KY there and got a home cooking of a lifetime.

The GCA facilities, how welcoming everyone of the staff was and how they treated us.......was 1st class!

I thought we played at 7:45 Saturday in Corbin? When listening to the stats of the Grace game on the way home, the radio broadcaster said we play Saturday at 1pm?

GCA treated everyone well. Very classy crowd. My only comment would be to the lack of seating. But overall, 1st class experience with the school.
