Dresden has a boatload of guys injured (10-11), but they still finding a way to win. I think they find a way to win this game too. Will for sure be another big test for Lions, like Lake Co was. Good l

Peabody should win this game by 14-21 points.

The Dresden streak will come to an end this week.  It was a good run for the Lions but Peabody will be too much in this game.  Best of luck to both programs.

The monkey of another undefeated season is off Lions back. Peabody was better team tonight, congratulations to them, 38-18 win. I know Dresden will learn from this and move on, better than ever. Get your 2A Gold Trenton, & we'll go for our 1A again. Can't wait until our numerous injured warriors (10? 11?) are back playing. Keep improving Lions!

Not surprised at this win by Peabody.  To many weapons for the Lions and Trenton still do not have their starting quarterback in.   Dresden will have at least 2 more possible losses, South Fulton and Obion County Central in the regular season, both of are playing very well.  Huntingdon will be the 1A team to win, hands down causing Dresden playoff run to end quickly..   Dresden with a good unbeaten run.

Peabody seems to be a real threat this year. Congrats to Dresden on a tremendous feat of 20 in row. When the TIde's offense is clicking, they are hard to stop. Defense is really tough to score against as well. I was surprised to see Peabody's QB back so early. Good luck to the Lions on the rest of their season.

Dresden please stop using injured players as an excuse.  Peabody would have won this game going away with those players on the field.  We have injuries also and you don't hear us complaining. Just like Peabody in 2014 and Dresden in 2016, those players will be hard to replace.  But I do understand , Dresden is a prideful program and they should be.  They will beat everyone else until they get to Huntingdon.  S. Fulton will not beat them and Obion will not either.  Good luck the rest of the way and get healthy soon

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
