AA Regions 5 and 6 Playoff Picture

 This yr if a team from R5 makes it to the 3rd round they will host. If two teams from the same region make it to the 3rd round the higher seed will host. Either way this yr the winner between R5 or R6 will host the semi.

That is not possible. There is no way we can meet riverside in the semi unless we are buying the tickets to watch R5 and R7 bump heads. If we meet Riverside it would be in round 3. Riverside will play 1st round at home then travel to play probably CA and if Riverside makes it to the 3rd round like we hope Waverly has a very good chance of playing all their games at home during the playoffs!

So what you are saying is, as long as LC keeps winning they win host every playoff game isn't that right?

so round two if Waverly, Riverside, CA and LC win, Each #1 seed would host. 

Then LC would host Waverly.

TSSAA changed the rules for who has to travel a few years back because some people made a big stink about always having to go down to Memphis for games. So to simplify it for everyone,  in the first two rounds, whichever team is seeded higher gets to host period. For round three and the semis, during the odd years, the even region teams travel. During the even years, the odd region teams travel, regardless of record or seeding. So for example with us (Waverly) last year we had to travel because we were in region 5. So I was looking forward to not traveling this year, but with the realignment, we are now in region 6, so unless we met someone from our region in one of those games, we will be traveling again this year.
