This guy sounds like a total "nut" job....the sad thing is because he played in the NFL, there will always be a few kids that will follow whatever he says.  There were probably some valid points made by him, but if you went to every county in the state there are probably some upgrades or changes that could be made...the problem is he never tried to implement change in the right way, he just went off like a loose cannon.

How do you know?

He will get another job. It may not be in Tennessee but it will happen

If he wants to coach, he can still become an assistant at the college level pretty easily with his NFL credentials, which would be big for recruiting purposes.  But he would probably make less doing that than he was getting at Crockett (seriously... he thinks college coaches get paid millions, but entry level assistants usually need to work 2-3 jobs to get by), and he'd have to follow someone else's lead.  He hasn't given any indication that he can do that.

Coming soon to theaters; " One man, One mission. GS, star athlete straight from the NFL takes on head coaching job. Against all odds he has a dream of revealing the school board for what they really are. But will he succeed in saving the world by wreaking havoc on the infamous Washington county school system? Find out if he succeeds or if he fails."

What entry level assistant has time to work 2-3 jobs??? Tough to do on top of 60 hour work weeks in season.
