Based on the Coach T Standings today, below are the teams that will be in the playoffs. Reg. 6 and 8 both have a 2 way tie for 4th. Reg. 7 South Fulton has the best overall record for the 3 teams battling for 4th. Reg. 3's top spot will be determined tonight! Still 3 weeks to go counting tonight. Alot can and will change.

This year has been very predictable in my opinion in 1A, 2A and 6A from what I've seen.

SP is #1 in region 3.  Beat A very good Whitwell team tonight 21-14.  Unless something crazy happens I fully expect SP and Whitwell to meet again in the 3rd Rd.

I don't think it's any weaker than it has been, it's more that 1A lost UC, Peabody, NCS, and Columbia Academy to name a few. Put those teams back in and the west would be as strong as usual. WC having a down year kinda took the luster off things as far as the west goes. Everybody had the WC vs Huntingdon game circled since last year but it didn't live up to the hype

The SP and Whitwell teams that played tonight are solid 1A teams, but nothing spectacular. I will say this though. I don't think anyone can find an atmosphere like that game tonight.

I think SP defense can keep them in the game with Gb or Coalfield... after watching SP tonight they still have lots of work to do especially on offense. Whitwell is right there with SP. Their defense is good enough to keep them in the game and give them a chance ..... but it will be an uphill battle for either team out of region 3 the Friday after thanksgiving
