Bump11
Same as the 6A post. Just some friendly banter and competition if anyone wants to throw some picks out. Round 1 Daniel Boone over Knox Central Sevier Co over Mtown East Tennessee over South Doyle Halls over Crockett Oak Ridge over Soddy Knox West over Rhea Co Fulton over Lenoir City Catholic over Campbell Co Summit over Hillwood Gallatin over Page Hillsboro over Shelbyville Beech over Columbia Henry Co over Ridgeway Munford over Clarksville Northeast over Southwind Brighton over Dyer Co Round 2 Daniel Boone over Sevier Co Tennessee over Halls Knox West over Oak Ridge Catholic over Fulton Summit over Gallatin Beech over Hillsboro Henry Co over Munford Northeast over Brighton Quarterfinals Daniel Boone over Tennessee Catholic over Knox West Beech over Summit Henry Co over Northeast Semifinals Catholic over Daniel Boone.....Whoever comes out of the Oak Ridge/West/Catholic/Fulton gets to the state championship game. I’ll take Catholic. Beech over Henry Co.....Beech is the team to beat. They are the cream of the crop in 5A this year. State Championship Beech over Catholic.....Beech finishes their perfect season and wins their 3rd state title.
blazer1set
Pulling for Crocket and Boone to make it to the Quarters, it would be the first time ever for a Musket Bowl 2.

plumb69
Brighton usually has trouble getting past the first round.
Norseman
Boone should make semis and it depends which Tennessee High team shows up for them to advance. Some games they’ve clearly dominated and some not so much.

Boone has never beaten a Knoxville team, so this would be a first. I would say Boone/Central is 50-

If Boone plays the way they are capable and the way they did against THS they will be tough to handle. Pulling for the local guys until we play each other, if that were to happen. REBELRON
Catholic will be hard to beat. Especially if that stud RB is back.
Rhea Co.
I have a feeling the Gold Ball is coming back to a team in Region 4 or 3 this year. It all just depends on who can stay healthy and playing good football at the right time.

We have not won a playoff game since 2010, our current players were little kids then. So I just hope they are not getting psyched out because we have to play a Knoxville team. A lot of the fans are already figuring Central wins simply because they are from Knoxville, and that is what teams from Knoxville do --- WIN. (Disclaimer: HS only, does not apply to SEC teams from Knoxville). Just looking at the brackets, if we both make it then we would meet in the Quarters. Scary, because of the parallels back to 2012

Those Catholic North fellers that aint offering no financial incentives to play will be difficult to beat baring a major upset of the apple cart. No 5A school has the horses to match them Catlick North Fellers, but with the Butch Jones recruitin' spree coming to an end, the time is about over for those Catlick fellers.
