Our qb who was a mr football finalist got hurt in the playoffs and lost to Rockwood 9-8. A team we beat in regular season at their field 47-14. Our quarterback had 7 touchdowns that game and we played J.V. all 4th quarter. Our quarterback is just that good. Not to mention we are returning all but 2 starters. The Rockwood score during the regular season was 48-27, and the game was much closer than the score. Yes, Aaron did take over the 2nd half, but we were fortunate to recover 2 onside kicks, which doesn't usually happen. And those 2 starters we lose were big difference makers. It's good to be confident.....but we have a lot of work to do.

Even though everyone kept saying they were down all year. And you are correct in your score. But 13 of those last points came against J.V. Keeping Swafford healthy has to be a concern in 2018.

GeneralForrest
Forrest has a chance to make it to the Elite 8. Getting past A'Ville, Peabody, UC,Waverly will be tough. In region games against Lewis, Columbia Academy, Eagleville will be tough also. Forrest lost to all three last year by a combined 22 points. Well within striking distance. Bout 4 months til week 1. Only know the East was supposed to have been down according to the people who supposedly know alot about football this past season. And in the End they played with the west just fine. Or does the 2nd overtime championship game count as a blowout according to the west critics? The West (teams)always think they are better. 2OT game against UC was the best game in Cookeville last December(hands down). Ambassador was right..Tyner did lose a lot but returns more than people realize. Will update status(of team) after our spring game next week. Meeru
What are some of the top teams spring scrimmage dates? I would love to see some of these "top" teams so I can put my true top teams. Potential doesn't win championships.

TheAmbassador
I just saw Tyner scrimmage Whitwell a little while ago. Tyner once again will be a factor in the east. There is no doubt they will have a great collection of athletes. Edited May 9, 2018 by TheAmbassador
