Peabody will will the  sloberknocker in the region again. Aville will be the second best team and the only chance to clip the Tide. And we all know the tide can have a let down. But I see Another gold

I’m hoping for a good game, it’s always good to have one last good challenge before playoff time. I hope this game decides the Region championship, it’ll be another Milan - Peabody like crowd again.

You were.... after that week 0 game, you spoke highly of the team throughout the season and stuck with us...one of the very few outsiders that gave us any chance.

If you are basing Gibson County off of the Waverly scrimmage, we were without a few of our starters... we looked fine against you all considering the players who were missing.

I’m not saying y’all didn’t. Please don’t base your performance off of Waverly. We will make the playoffs but that’s about it!

The Waverly team that you all brought over and played with is good enough to compete against any 2A team over here in the west except for Peabody so don't act like you all are terrible.

We put the our whole Freshman line in the second half, and just kept Cooper in to hand the ball off to a freshman running back

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
