Ivey got caught? It was 2-2 going into the 2nd. Trae reversed him so it was 7-2 before he got pinned. Did u say you’d bet you’re salary that Ivey wins 106? Lol let me screen shot that post haha

This is false. It was 2-2, trae got the reversal and made it 4-2 and then caught him and pinned him at 4-2. Ivey got the first takedown. He’s legit and the only threat to trae. I’m not taking anything away from trae but Ivey did get caught. That doesn’t make it any less of a W. But Trae didn’t take it to him or win with ease. He was evenly matched and ended up getting the pin. We will see what happens next time around.

Is every pin “getting caught”? what is your definition of getting caught? First take down don’t mean much. But your exactly right, we will see what happens next time around

2-2 Trae gets reversal. 4-2, plus  3 back points before the pin made it 7-2.  Ivey is legit and he’s good. But if y’all are saying Trae got lucky and “caught” Ivey your silly

Once again, false. Trae never got near fall. The score was 4-2 at the time of the pin. If Ivey had fought off is back there would have been near fall but he didn’t, so there wasn’t.

Nobody said ANYTHING about trae getting lucky. Please show me where anyone is calling it lucky. Saying he caught him doesn’t mean it’s luck. It means he caught him.. and that’s 100% true.  if you watched the same match I did, Trae did not outclass him. He wasn’t on another level, he didn’t dominate or win with ease, he was evenly matched. But you continue to talk like he just owned Ivey and that’s nowhere near true. These 2 will meet again. Unless someone like Calvin pulls an upset, these 2 will meet again. And it’s gonna be good.

I am sorry but I have to say a pin is a pin.  Lucky, got caught doesnt really matter it's a pin.  All this other stuff is just ridiculous.  Trae is the best 106 and i dont think he will be challenged.  Maybe he doesnt pin "whoever" makes the final verse him but he will cruise to a state championship.

If the first takedown "DON'T MEAN MUCH" then why do the statistics say that the winner of the first takedown in high school wrestling win 80+% of the time.  Just asking because I have always been told that scoring the first takedown in a big match is very important.

Where are you quoting this statistic from?  How about the statistical analysis that the guy who gets the first take down is simply a better wrestler most of the time, and that when two quality kids meet this "statistic" is no longer applicable?

I received my information from a book that was written by William Welker.  Just based on pure speculation I would say that the percentage would be even higher when two wrestlers are evenly matched.

Myles was caught but the better wrestler won just like he has the previous 5 times they wrestled.  Caught is when someone has proven that thru competition (head to head) they are very close/equals.  Not thru speculation that they are equals.  At the end of the day I believe we will see a rematch and that will be the tell all.

In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
