I believe the west will have Peabody in the semifinals vs CA/Waverly winner. Union City is a good team, but having to play Peabody twice is tough. However I would never count that bunch out. 

In the east it’s simple as well. You will have Meigs County pretty much mercy ruling everyone until the semifinals. Watertown should do the same until the quarterfinals.  Yes, I said Watertown in the quarterfinals. LMBO. The Tyner vs Trousdale round 2 matchup will be interesting as well. I could see any of those 3 teams meeting up with Meigs in the semifinals.

When was the last time Watertown made it to the quarterfinals?

I would say no matter their record they have a shot once the 2A playoffs begin.

i know that we made it to the semis in the 70s, we might have made it to the quarters once in the mid 80s but, if i’m right, that’s it.

IDK why I feel like a Waverly - CA rematch isn't happening this year.  Maybe Lewis climbs up...I can't put my finger on it

The furthest recently has been the 2nd round twice. Losing to Marion in 2016 and Tyner in 2017.

Quarterfinals are not that big of a stretch for H2O...goes to show you what a 1-seed can do..don't get me wrong it's no guarantee but the possibility is better.

I don't think they've ever made it to the quarterfinals. There were times in the past that I felt they had the teams to do so, but they didn't.

Their enrollment has grown substantially since they built their new high school, and that has helped the talent that is available. Before the new school, they were around 380, now they're close to 600.
