The stone mcminn winner will play bradley in title game with one of those. Possibly upsetting Riverdale in sweet 16

I have seen McMinn play two times this year, and if Stone is a top team in 3A they should win by 20 IMO

Bradley and Stone is the title game.

Congrats on a great season Warriorettes. We gave Bradley a good game tonight. We just went cold in the 3rd quarter. With other teams losing some of their best players to graduation I'm confident we'll be right at the top of 6AAA next season with us returning all 5 starters, 6aaa freshmen of the year(Stiles), and the awesome 8th graders just finished 3rd in the state.

They also said on the radio tonight that the district AND region tournament is at White County next year. That's always a good thing.

Saw the score at the half tonight.  Good fight!

I saw that 8th grade team play this year. There are some girls that will help the bench if they don’t start.  Cookeville Freshman team is gonna be loaded as well!   Looking like we will be trading blows for years to come.

Who will replace Savage next season?  She is really hard to stop.

Good question.  Tough spot to fill.  She is a beast on the block.  We will need to find 15pts/gm somewhere.  But with 8 of the 9 players in the rotation back we will be a solid team.  Lots of quality minutes played by fresh/soph this year so the foundation is set.  Probably see more pressing and fast play next year.  Guess we will find out over the summer.

Bradley & Cleveland both have some really good 8th graders coming up next year as well.

    • Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold. If you were around at that time and have any pictures of Kyle, please go onto Alexy Winesburgh FB page and post. Thanks, Doug Benton
    • My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
    • I understand Gibson Co. will be announced tomorrow with a familiar name. Not sure about So. Gibson.
    • A huge addition to the staff today! Former Hardin Valley legend and Richmond College running back Aaron Dykes was announced as the running backs coach. Rushed for over 3,000 yards at HVA, with 35 total touchdowns. I loved watching in Hardin Valley. I can’t believe he’s at Bearden now. I know he was trying to get a HVA job, I don’t know what happened there and how he ended up at Bearden, but I'm glad he’s here and believe he will be teaching art class as well! What a good get for the staff!!
    • Thoughts? Gordonsville won it last year with a sophomore pitcher and returned almost everybody. Can anyone beat them?
