WC got a couple of gifts tonight. Right before the half iys 3rd and whatever, WC quarterback throws the ball away and they call intentional grounding. That turns it into 3rd and 14. Should have been 4th down with the loss of down. Not saying they wouldn't habe scored but it would have made it much harder. The second gift was when The Bulldogs take a pick to the house, WC player runs into his own man 10 yards away from the play and they call a block in the back on Cornersville?!?!

I assure you our officials were worse!! Was painful to watch!!

The refs working this game were absolutely terrible.  TSSAA should be ashamed putting such low quality referees in a playoff game.

Refs were awful tonight. Some of the holding calls on Cornersville were mind numbing. 

 

 

Thought the intentional grounding on WC before the half was BS. QB was well outside of the pocket and threw it to the first down marker. Someone told me that you can’t throw the ball away in high school (huh?).

 

 

Highlights: Henlee Mitchell (player of the game), Cam Whitaker, and second half offense.

 

 

Lowlights: The secondary (shooooweeeeee) and the temperature.

The first quarter was smooth sailing.  Not a penalty from either team. Second quarter was when Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder showed up.

Joe Stocstill and CJ were texting back and forth all week. Joe watched a few games on Hudl, and literally called every play before it was ran lol. He was money.
