This game was exactly as I expected. Close tough physical ball game. Huntingdon will definitely be favorites to win it all next year with all of the players they have coming back.

Don’t get them started , that’s all we have heard since week zero this year, of course, you are right, they have already claimed next years FOLD ball and said multiple times that No one can beat them.

Oh wait , they started on next year last year——reload—-repeat(shocker)

tunnel vison is a gold ball trap

keep writing us off stangs , we don’t stand a chance next year...

We still have a shot this year, enjoy Black Friday , we didn’t forget about all those juniors from cornersville, I bet they haven’t forgot about all those sophomores from lc either

Cornersville didnt get the Huntingdon offense that I saw play for 12 games this year. They got the Swenson I'm scared to death and have no clue what play to call or what kids to put in the game. Some even made the statement it looked like he was throwing the game on purpose. Wonder if there is a high school team in the country that runs their QB to the sideline every play to have him run the same play over and over. Funny thing is Huntingdon was called for 3 delay of game penalties bc they couldnt get the play in on time. There were people from all over West and Middle TN watching this game tonight and all everyone walked away with is how much a clown Huntingdon has running their football program

Wow 2 years in a row the Stangs have had a off night just against C'Ville.  Ya'll usually get more home cooking then the  pioneer woman..lol

No you didn't. Y'all spread the ball around with that misdirection to perfection in regular season then tonight became very one dimensional except for the few pass plays. Someone posted earlier that you can't keep running the same thing and keep advancing, well that's wrong to, you better keep running what got you to this point and putting 50 points a game on the board or this is the result you get. If it ain't broke don't fix it! As for the play calling, I thought Cville was a little off their game and gave up some opportunity's by running the same play to much on the first couple drives before their coach opened it up a little. Your better to adjust what your already doing as the game goes than to come in with it already adjusted. I hate the way the season ended for this group of boys from Huntingdon, they will always be winners, lots of teams would trade records with them over the past two seasons so keep your heads up boys and be proud of a great two year run y'all seniors had

Sorry but yea we  did same plays all year long

I am wondering if the nasty grams left in the visitors locker room had anything to do with a lack of playing time for some guys? Several of the Cornersville players put them in their socks for the game, and I do believe they left them on the 50 yard line after the game.

Yea my son still had one in his waist band  it said cornersville sucks what u could still read of it lol

I for one will say that is pretty classless.

If players had anything to do with it they get the result they deserved not only for them but the team.

That sounds like crap McKenzie use to pull when they would come to Huntingdon. Huntingdon. Is better than that.

I will give Cornersville their rightly deserved dues. The defense is legit. Plenty of speed and play as disciplined as I have ever seen.

I really thought this would come down to whether our defense could stop their offense. For the most part, we did a great job. The long pass play that killed us was defended as well as you can do it. Receiver made an amazing catch.

We had multiple opportunities in the passing game. For some reason Huntingdon does not believe in short passes. There were open receivers all night.

    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
    • What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?
    • Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?
    • Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach
    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
