Alcoa beat Maryville, they could beat most teams in the south,the other two they fit right in with. But what do you know, you’ve never even stepped out onto the field from what I’m told.

I have grew up in the valley all my life and Chattanooga never gives the valley any love. Look at the Valley’s accomplishments in the past 10 years. Pitt, Marion, and Whitwell have all went to state. A couple of years ago Sequatchie was derailed in the semifinals by Alcoa.

We probably couldn’t get past upperman. But we could beat red bank. And that’s not just coming from whitwell fans either that’s coming from Chatt Central and Signal Mountain Coaches

If they win state they will appear in the second page box scores lol In all seriousness, I hope Whitwell does take it home. Greenback, Whitwell, SP, Huntington, and Cornersville were my top 5 going into the season and it stayed pretty consistent other than Lake County. I'll be the first to say I've been critical of the Tigers. I just don't think their line play is any good. I still don't. However, when you trot out 5 all-State skill players you can make up for a lot of deficiencies. Sometimes you need a little luck to win it all to go with skill. This is their year. Cornersville will be ran over by Petty and Wingo.

Not if their offensive line isn’t any good, they won’t.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
