Like I said in my earlier post, the Haven always plays a full 48 minute game with never a second of 'give up'.  You forget that and they WILL beat you.

I'll be calling this game tomorrow night on 93.9 FM and have a ton of respect for both of these Coaching staffs.   Some of you folks saying that Oakland's staff will "out coach" Whitehaven don't know

His name is Tyler Hunter. He is Dr. Hunter's youngest son. (Dr. Hunter is the head principal at Whitehaven) Tyler has been playing on varsity since he was a freshman. As a freshman he was a 5'-10", 21

Is the Oakland semifinal game on N F H S yet? I have got to see what eers has seen! You know darn well I don't see us losing but I am realistic enough, due to our sometimes suspect playcalling, to know we could be in a DOGFIGHT But this individual, that hasn't seen us play but has seen Oakland play thinks we're going to be soundly beaten, he may be on to something. I need to see the playoff games. Didn't Oakland have a DOGFIGHT with Mt. Juliet?

No we haven't played this year. It doesn't change history any. Somehow, Oakland has vastly improved to the point WH will be overwhelmed?

I guess it all comes down to I believe Oakland is the best Oakland team I’ve seen in a while and I don’t think WH is as good as they’ve been in the past. History doesn’t change where we are in the here and now.

I was thinking the same thing but the other way around. you think this Oakland team is better than 16?

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
