Loudon is MUCH improved hockey! They will be a tough matchup for us no joking!Beat Meigs today if im not mistaken and that was without Jackson!

yep  I was there. Loudon is going to throw the ball a lot.  Meigs  to me did not look that good.  But still early and may have not gotten into form  yet.

Loudon offensively will be hard to stop I believe. Their qb can scramble real well, is an accurate passer, and their recievers had multiple one hand catches on us. They will add a good ground attack when Drew Jackson returns.

Lets hear it men and ladykee. What is everyone's opinion of the scrimmage? Positives: passing game, absolutely ridiculous. Tonight we saw a combo that could be one of the most prolific in the state. It is there anytime you want it. Run game solid. O-line suspect at times needs work. Defense as expected. Absolute head hunters for DB's. Lbs and D line looked good. Need to get the OLB's outside a little quicker to contain sweeps as the year goes or South Pitt. Will speed sweep us to death. Both DE could dominate when they want. Just need to want it every play.

All the pressure is on Greenback this season. It is theirs to lose. With that much talent in 1a football it should be a done deal. Same goes if they played in 2a or even 3a. Except maybe Alcoa.

I have been saying the same thing kinfolk! After they got the Maryville QB I knew it was a wrap. The 2 WR transfers to go along with Willis kid is just nasty for a 1A school. If their passing game is clicking I don’t see anyone scoring enough to beat them. Sounds like South Pittsburg is only challenge in East and with what I saw from them last year I don’t think they have the skill players to matchup with GB. I’m just keeping it real

    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
