I think they have a great shot to make it to Cookville and hoist the gold ball. But, I would back up and punt on this team having more talent than those teams. T. Seay, A. Dillon, T. Edwards, J. Cunningham, A. Gregory, K. Gregory, M. Bottom, C. Hall, J. Cox. (Cunningham, Dillon and Hall were seniors in 2008} Not trying to leave any others out as several of those would probably start on this years team (ex. B. Ford). That's not even getting into the 2005 team. Just wait.. you will see. The next two seasons will be special in Hartsville.

Now I’ve heard many of your posters say the 2008 team wasn’t that talented. SP was talented, but I’ve heard a lot of folks say Trousdale wasn’t very talented. They were just coached well. It can’t be both so which is it? LMBO

LMBO It is both they were talented as a team and they were well coached to me it was both. They may be not the most talented compared to TC other championship teams. Honestly, if you take the late 90’s TC team I don't think any TC team compares. But I was still a young pup when I wasn't even in high school yet in the late ’90s so what do I know. tcjacket13
Well it is set in stone, Trousdale will play 9 games in 2019 and have 2 bye weeks. They have 3 fall scrimmages scheduled. They will scrimmage Lake County, Livingston Academy, and Upperman. These will be crucial for a team that will try to learn a different play style and schemes. There was no spring scrimmages so that puts more weight and importance to these scrimmages. Should be an exciting season. Stay tuned!

I agree 1000% but when you get some bigger schools to play (Lebanon, Gallatin) and you embarrass them by them losing to a small school, it truly makes it harder to schedule games, Coach Satterfield was dealt a hard hand he was finishing coaching his softball team, when normally would have been scheduling a game, so yes it sucks, but could it be a good thing? We will see.
