You better be.. they will be a beast this season. They have the best player in 2A coming back along with a large supporting cast.

The QB is a great player but they don't have speed on at the other skill positions. Meigs defense weakness is also an offense with speed

I would honestly say that I think Meigs will be as good as they were last year. Trousdale had a silly good defense and that was the difference in the game for us with the exception of our best HB not being able to play. That being said as good as their defense was we managed to score 29 points I think it was. If you had seen the qb play my friend you would know he is truly gifted player. Hes extremely hard to stop consistently. That said I hope you guys do have a good year you truly are a  fan of Forrest, maybe a little harsh on them at times but that is still passion for the team you enjoy watching.

I would like to say GA is being a pessimist but this group of highly talented athletes has found a way to severely underperform year in year out !!! I still think they can get a 7 win season !!! Best of luck to Forrest

GA's 5 and 5 comment was for the number of home and away games not the end of season record.  If this group goes 5-5 with this schedule....

Barring injuries and if we have the right guys in the right places on the field we should be hosting several playoff games this fall.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
