Well this is a game I’ve been looking forward to since the 2019 schedule was released. Oak Ridge seems to have a solid fan base, so hopefully they will travel well. Mount Juliet has top notch facilities and an awesome atmosphere to watch a high school football game. This should be fun.

When Oak Ridge is playing well, they are tough to beat.  However, they seem to be having some trouble this year.  It is a very interesting matchup though.

This will make a Clinton fan happy even though I don't think much of OpieShaggnasty...

Oak Romeo vs Mt. Juliet... will be a very difficult game for Oak Ridge to even compete in. MJ will have the size, speed and home field advantage.   The Wildcats coaches must come up with one of their BEST Game Plans EVER. Every single Wildcat player will  be called upon to play at their  top effort.

Yes, MJ will be the favorite but the Wildcats will show up and show out. RWR!

Fortunate for Oak Ridge, MJ has consistently been a turnover prone team, penalties have been a bit of a problem as well. If we play a clean mistake free game, you’re right we could win by 20+. If play calling, turnovers and penalties get in our way... it could be interesting.

MJ to get the w

YIKES! Wingman10 your pick carries weight for me. You know your Tennessee HS sports and are currently ranked # 3 in CoachT's BIG ONES Contest. You may not know this but the gentlemen ranked # 2 in the BIG ONES is " boyfromsi " who is an Oak Ridge fan. I wonder who he thinks will win. Too bad the OR vs MJ game is not among the games in this week's BIG ONES Contest.

I think I may have down played the Wildcat team. You will probably not beat us by 20+. On Wednesday / Thursday I will make my pick. I will give y'all a hint...the winner will go GRRRR and have Cardinal and Gray fur.  RWR!

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
