If this was occurring every game I would understand.  Offering this additional service for one game provided that you adhere to the dress code for that seating....if it isn’t obvious then I can’t explain it.

Here’s to Briggs running for 200+....ROLL WAVE!

So if you buy a $20 seat and take off the orange and reveal green do you get kicked out??

How is offering the people a chance to reserve a seat price gouging? If you dont want a reserved seat then you simple pay as you normally would. They are simply offering an additional service for an additional fee.

How many reserved seats do they actually have?

I listened to Withrow (MJ homer) bash Beech as well. He said the Beech AD said there is no room in the press box, which is true. Beech already streams their games live on WHIN’s website. The WHIN folks and/or Beech folks have sold advertising to local businesses to support this broadcast all year long. Is Beech supposed to kick the guys out that are doing the WHIN stream every time Withrow wants to show up and do a game?

He also said that this is a case of “adults ruining it for kids”.  Last time I checked, Beech’s program was far from ruin.

I understand that but could they not do it outside the press box area?  I know for a fact that broadcasts there have done that before.  Y’all do what y’all want to.  This game will go along way toward that turf field that y’all want/need.

I promise you Coach Crabtree will do what he wants, and I’m just fine with that.  Chad Withrow and yahoo’s on here (including me) are the last people whose opinions matter to him.

As for the game, I think this game will end about like the Gallatin/Hendersonville game ended.

No doubt Crabtree is in charge and that goes for Watson as well.  This should be a great game and atmosphere!!  It already is by all the extracurricular stuff going on outside the game itself.

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
