Forrest struggled early with Eagleville last night before putting them away -2nd meeting of the season.

Riverside destroyed Waverly on their field- 2nd meeting of the season.

Even the Meigs fans admit the first matchup was close until Swafford did what he does most games, but its DIFFICULT to beat a team 2x. It's more psychological than anything.  It's a mix of familiarity, complacency, and boredom for the team who won the first game, even subconsciously. Oneida needs to star fast again this week, then they will have a chance.

The mental aspect of November football is lost on most simpleton fans who get on here and brag about lineman height/weight and 40 times.

Hopefully this team remembers what happened against Rockwood two years ago.

Oneida has in all probability a championship caliber defense or very close to it. Their coach schemes us as good as anyone. This will be a good game again. Their best weapon is a punter lol killed us our first game. Had terrible field position all night. We earned every yard we got that night.

There may not be another coach in TN could have game planned as well as Lambert did against our pass game last night. We ran well and would shoot ourselves in the foot and have to do what we didn't want to do and Lambert was usually ready for it most times

His coaching normally puts his team within reach of winning any game from my experience, as long as he has the horses to contend.

I told Yeti Midway thru the year if Oneida had an offense they would be my pick to go to Cookeville!

Yeah that’s true but that’s not gonna get you to Cookeville and that D can only bend and not break so much.

No my friend your season ends in Decatur, you can beat teams like SN,HHS,SG and so forth with a tough D but you better score to beat Meigs,GB,SP,TC and so forth.
