Well well. Congrats Riverside

Congrats to Riverside players and good luck next week. 

Unfortunately a great game was tarnished by officials from Chattanooga that need to be drug tested. Several strange calls and interesting spots all game. 

Play of the game was a Riverside punt on 4th and 9 from midfield. Forrest plays punt safe- no rush and no return- ball bounces around harmlessly around the 20. Refs huddle and call personal foul on Forrest AND give  Riverside the ball back on the FHS 35 yard line. They score the game winning TD on the next play. The “penalty” was a legal block on the gunner after the kick. . He goes in motion and the guy with him goes and blocks him hard.  

1. It was a legal block. Not a penalty.

2. It  was after the kick and it’s Forrest’s  ball half the distance to the goal. 

So a horrible call and a misapplication of the rule played a huge factor. I’ll comment more after watching the live broadcast.

Salem I have to agree with you about the refs. They also gave Riverside a first down when clearly it wasn’t and I also thought y’all got the first down at the end of the game. It sucks it went down like that and both teams played their butts off. Just wish it would have ended without the refs making the game questionable. Both teams deserved the win but it is what it is bud.

I never really doubted my R6 Brothers I was just trying to upset and confuse the General but he never seen it.
