My eyes are not as sharp as they used to be but was the referee letting the Huntland returner run out of the end zone on kickoffs Thursday night. He seemed not to know it's a touchback.

Yes it happened twice. foot was in the end zone and the official allowed him to run it out. I had a field view

Old Pirate ain’t familiar with the play you described but it is sad to see the kids basically cheated by incompetent officiating! BTW, what is your take on the Fayetteville City complaint against the TSSAA?

Old Pirate says you West teams should ignore any feelings of disrespect by the east. Hopeful the Pirates will again attempt to git a win over you guys. The challenge before us all is going to be tough. Good luck to all the youngons strapping it up for safe injury free games!
