TC had a better defense this year easily compared to last year. Thisnyear offensively they lacked the impact player that Baines qas but played with a #2 imo who wasnt far behind him in athleticism. I think all in all TC was all around better this year than last. I will let them say that for themselves though. Offensively they had #5, #6, and #2 who were all great athletes and hard to contain for 4 quarters. Just my opinion.

Good analogy. Thanks

peabody has more speed than SP?

Hard to say General . But we probably will agree that speed isnt the end all as people seem to believe!! Speed can be schemed against with great coaching, solid assignment ball and great tackling  technique.

Just remember we hurt 2 of their best players before you played them last year. You honestly didnt play the same team in the championship that we faced in the qtrs last year.

The players that were hurt played.  I just don’t think they were as explosive this year compared to last year.  Either way they are a good team

If your basing that on the footage you seen vs us playing, Alot of that can be contributed to our defense. They are the real deal.

Defensively I think they were as good, if not better. Offensively I agree, less explosive, but #2, #5, and #6 are capable of busting one at any moment. I think the style they play now compliments them well without Baines.

millions of fans, sportswriters, and media judge/comment/predict and gamble on teams based on video/tv. but your view from a fence 500 yards from the action at field level while u wipe processed cheese sauce from ur beard and juggle a hot chocolate and a ring pop is better. ok.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
