If they Change it to 5 classes Alcoa would be 2A and AC would be 3A.

I don't think so,  they have nearly 700 kids.  I think they would stay 3A.  That should be the low for the 3A schools if they were to go to 5 classes.

Yeah your probably right. I was thinking back to 2008 when we last had 5 classes. Milan and Alcoa played in the 2A state championship that year. But Alcoa has grown enrollment wise since then.

As I’m scheming the the replies for the record i feel it should be 4-5 classes. 4a by far is the weakest Top to bottom. I don’t think Alcoa should have to move us because they kick everybody’s butt. To be the best you have to beat the best. I also remember when I was rumored Alcoa was moving to 4a and EVERYBODY back that way moved up or dropped classes.
