Both schools may be on fall break, and it would allow a bunch of families at least a long weekend with Friday off. And/Or...It may be because adults don’t want to get wet. Good football players will play in the rain, heat, snow, home, away, or behind the woodshed - just not if there’s thunder - lol. I expect a great game!
