It’ll be over by halftime is my guess—Alcoa!

I don't think so. My Covington Chargers played Alcoa in 2018 and gave them all that they wanted. In fact, Alcoa had to score in the last two minutes to beat us. I don't know of any other 3A team that has given them that kind of competition lately.

IMHO Milan this year is as tough an out as we were in 2018. I fully expect them to give Alcoa a tough game.

Let's talk after the championship game.

Most people will probably have this opinion. But Milan will put up a fight. They will be the best 3A team Milan has seen all year. I wouldn’t sleep on us.

Absolutely agree with you!!  And that’s what I love about Milan.  Not to mention their physicality. Reminds me of ole school football—dating myself a bit.  Lol I didn’t know much about them before this year. I’m a middle Tennessee guy so I don’t follow a lot of West TN.  Like what I see and I do hope they beat Alcoa.

Trust me.  I’m pulling for anybody to beat Alcoa as well as give them all they want. Alcoa is not my team by the way.  Good luck to you guys!!

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
