Hester returns to Ravenwood

You have to give him credit for how he drastically changed the culture at Ravenwood. Yes, he had some dudes, but part of that is because of him. Also, he did improve Florence from what they were before him.

Did Hester chase the athletes in Nolensville? Sure, but i would say the teams mostly comprised of kids from Brentwood not nolo. Also the draw of having Nolo middle school on campus and being able to groom the kids from 6th grade on to Senior year is a huge advantage. 

Did he go for the money in Alabama? Yeah who wouldn’t. Tennessee underpays their coaches. Florence is also a newish school and he accomplished a good amount in little time.

Daniels accomplished more than he was expected to, but also was able to magically get Reggie Grimes and his dad over as well. Daniels is a fine high school coach. 

Hester going back to Ravenwood is fine and he should be able to pick up right where he left off if the kids allow him to.

Also someone said something about Daniels being unaware of things going on in his program... Which head coach is just blind to things on with his team. You’re the head coach you know what’s going on and what’s not.

Okay no dog in this hunt, but I wouldn't consider an elite coach, nor would I consider him a bad coach.

Daniels (Jack) then Rector had that program already established when Hester took over.  Those dudes where already there.  I give credit for him helping to develop them and putting them in the right places to be successful which is what a coach should do.  I am just saying that for anyone to anoint any coach that has that type of athletes is nuts.  When Will left the Ravenwood program in terms of athletes was not in a good place.  And to just cast off what M Daniel did (even though I think how he got some of his guys is very shady) is also nuts.  THis is not politics therefore it is ok to disagree.  There is plenty of credit to go around when you talk about the success of Ravenwood.

Very true.  I believe that Nolensville played at least 1 year maybe 2 with just a JV schedule.  So if they did win a playoff game with juniors and below the. It is not surprising.   Getting that much practice and that many reps will make you a good team regardless of class.
