Absolutely 100% FALSE. There is zero merit to this claim. Jonesy has asked for NOTHING, but to be the coach. Your claim about asking for extra money like Grider asked for to come back several years ago is completely untrue. As for the rest of your post. I can’t answer because I don’t know what was promised or all those other things.

Why would grider leave sp knowing they still had talent ?  You guys said he was retiring or was leaving because he said he was only staying 5 years. Seems like he knew the mess that went down was brew

I don’t know the specifics and don’t plan on discussing a man’s financial status, but I was under the impression the Cleveland Browns had a multi-million dollar buyout on his contract.  If so, he doesn’t need any money.  Just regular coach’s pay, if that.  I don’t know why so many folks are wound so tight about who our Coach will be.  According to social media our Principal who will be making the decision has gone on a spring break vacation. So it will be at least a week before we know anything.  Geezsh

Tell you what I did here. . A old Man who smelled like a goat and a big headed purple boy who was fatter than a washing machine got in a fight.It lasted about 7 seconds and both were laying on the ground crying like babies. Then they crawled over to each other and went to hugging and slobbering on one another. Witnesses said it happened out in front of the Pirate.

      Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.

      I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.

      5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
