And the article doesn't even mention how Lawson a 4 star Oregon commit just happened to enroll. The problem is T$$AA is  all about the money. Houston will get an injunction in the courts and T$$AA will back away. We all know how this works.

Mark my word if they win Houston High will have to vacate at some point. Too many transfers in one year for something illegal to not be going on.  It’s an AAU Super team playing against High School teams. Today my favorite team is Oak Ridge!

Shelby County Schools not having football or basketball this year allowed several athletes to transfer to other schools in order to play. Lawson was at Woodale which did not have basketball. Mike Miller being named Coach made national news. Like it or not, that will bring kids in to play, Having a former NBA player and former college coach as a high school head coach will draw players. Mason Miller, Yates and Madlock have been at Houston since they were freshmen. They qualified for state last year. Brock Vice went to Houston Middle, moved to Virginia, then moved back when football in Virginia was cancelled. Nothing nefarious going on.

Now you know how homegrown rural football teams feel when the TSSAA turns their heads with the Maryvilles, Alcoa’s and Greenbacks.

Stop trying to be logical with everyone. They cannot comprehend how all of this is true.

Yep. Same thing happened with Penny Hardaway @ East. Unfortunately, that’s just the nature of the beast.

You left out a few:

Colbert - 6'9" 4* from Texas (new this year)

Greene - 6'6" from Minnesota. Starter? (new this year)

Nowell - 6'0" freshman guard. Top 20 middle schooler in country from Philadelphia (new this year)

Stokes - 6'7" Houston last year, but isn't he from Collierville

Lawson - 6'6" 4*. I guess he had to play somewhere (new this year)

It is a known fact Penny cheated at East. Correct me if I am wrong but did they vacate that title?  We both know this is an AAU super team. I hope I am wrong but I have no faith in the T$$AA doing the right thing.

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
