Agree, and just what team from Williamson County got embarrassed by a Rutherford County team in the State Championship?  Heck, we (Riverdale) played a better game against Oakland.

Riverdale had one of its better teams last year and played pretty good ball

Thanks man. Our community worked hard to make it happen this past season. About to spend a couple million to add a Jumbotron and am indoor practice facility for all sports. I am proud of the investment our community is making in the kids.

It will pay dividends beyond what people can imagine at this point I am sure

Eh. That's true but again not at all a reflection about the quality of the program in any way.

True. Turf or grass won’t win or lose you any games. Turf is a bigger investment, but does save a lot of work. Plus, you would be surprised how much paint you go through on a grass field over the course of a year.

Paid for by the county.  Another example that Williamson county football has passed Rutherford county football.

It is bad when you have to start a thread to convince yourself that your area football is better than another area football when you know in fact that said area is better than your own area.

Williamson  County is also one of the richest counties in the state by quite a bit,  having more wealth doesn't make you the better team, Rutherford  county football is alot stronger

Do we count the private schools in Williamson County or not. I think they put Willco ahead of Ruco.

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
