I Guarantee you that when this series is over, it will never be with Lewis County! I am curious, however, when this series was scheduled-how far ago. I am willing to bet it was when the school first came into existence!

Just so it’s known, L.C. Is a top 2A team on paper only. You guys helped prove that last evening.

dude watertown was ranked way higher than lc in preseason polls but still you were nowhere to be found on those threads. grow up man these kids played hard last night and they get dogged every week by the same dude on coach t.

How far and long is that drive from Fayetteville to Hohenwald?

85-ish miles give or take--GoogMaps took us past Lawrenceburg up the Natchez Trace for a little and serious back roads. It took us  about 1 hr/45 minutes to get there.  I had wanted to go Lawrenceburg->Summertown->Hohenwald but googmaps didn't.  The return trip, we went 412 to Columbia .  Two lanes, gas stations if you needed, and wide open. 1.5 hours back.

PP2, you would lose your bet.  Coach Morson only found them sometime early this year, like January I think.

Don’t you just know it’s gonna be a long ride home next year?

Well, a lot can happen in a year.  We brought a pretty decent sized crowd considering the drive, hope the panther faithful will also.  And I will guarantee that the bathrooms and visitor's locker room will have air conditioning.

Somebody explain this to me..

How can a perennial top ten, and when I say perennial, I mean year in and year out regular season top 10 ranking, of a 2A program get not just blown out; not just drummed but absolutely shellacked AT HOME by a 1A program? Not just a typical 1A program but a relative up start that has only been around a few years.

They were state champions last year and has a chance to repeat. Not your normal small school slick

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
