1)tie between jeff rutledge and george quarles.

rutledge's team finishes 6-4 in the regular season--then defeat three of the teams they lost to in the play-offs; that is a special feat. quarles: uh, what can we say? his players are always ready to give 100 percent; they are best conditioned, poised and disciplined kids that i have seen at the high school level. oh, let us not forget their precision when it comes to execution.

2)don woods: if i'm not mistaken, there are 22 starters on west's football team, and they are the second best team in 4a.

3)scott meadows: hey, in one year he turns jeff co's football program around; they finish 9-4 making it to the qtr. finals. that is not bad for a team that has finished below .500 for the previous 5 yrs.

4)g.clark (DB) his team starts 2-2 but finishes 11-3 losing in the semi's. enough said.

any opinions out there? do you all agree? let me know!

What about Crockett Co.'s P.A. Pratt? He led the Cavs to the semis for the second straight year, went 13-1, and has 2 Mr. Football nominees at a school taht has never had a Mr. Football nominee.

PA PRATT is a great coach but just because u take a team to semis two years in a row doesnt make u the best, if that were true, look at the coach's for mckenzie, usj, ezell, cloudland, etc

Mckenzie's coach has to be one of best coachs. His three years as head coach, they have had the three best seasons in school history. 11-2 13-1 and 9-5. Mckenzie lost 21 starters from last years team and still made it to the semis. where they lost to a good mitchell team. They were in the game the whole way. Just like they were in every game they played this year. No one blew them out.
