It was apparent that Dyersburg offered Peabody to play this Friday, but the Tide refused to play.

Asked and refused to play. If you didn’t want to play you shouldn’t have scheduled. All you have done is take away a game from the Trenton and Dyersburg kids and who knows if the season might be over tomorrow due to covid. What a shame

Well tomorrow would be the earliest Peabody could practice. Which is the same day as lake county….  So Same situation for the team. Minus the time off.

Dyersburg now has an open date this Friday and on 9/24. Gibson County now also has an open date on 9/24.

I don’t play do you ?  So lake county can’t play us because they cant start practice till tomorrow but Peabody is scared because  they wont do the same thing lake county won’t do ?

You’re a special kind of stupid aren’t you? Do you want one a Peabody to play three teams in a row twice to three times their size with a limited roster smaller amount of starters? More like would you just like to guarantee dyersburg to win on no practice?

how many schools would be able to really compete with the biggest 3A school in the state 1 or 2 kids below the cut off ! It’s not fear it’s common sense to me, we cannot handle the injuries of thre schools twice to three times our size 3 Games in a row ! Some will disagree but I wouldn’t play either ! Just a humble opinion

I understand your point but last I looked Dyersburg was in the 600s.

If you didn’t want to play the adults in the room should not have scheduled the game. Now the kids have one taken away. Great lesson, shake a hand, make a deal, then don’t honor it
