Looks like Milan’s coaches and players might have spent to much time reading their press clippings

Milan has to reevaluate where it is at right now. This game was very one sided and the scary thing is Haywood did not play its best football if I am being honest. The snap problems and pre-snap penalties were an issue or it might have been a 50-point blowout. Milan's star looks uninvolved and not really engaged or involved in the offense; and their quarterback leaves the pocket, scrambles around and is inaccurate throwing on the run. The defense had no answer for the running game and looked gassed most of the game. Special teams was a huge advantage for Haywood. Frankly when the two teams came out for pregame, the size and strength difference was glaring. A lot of this is on all the hype and preseason talk that definitely provided bulletin board material for the rest of 4A.

No bulletin board material was provided by anyone from Milan. I post 95%+ of the stuff on these boards about Milan. If anything was posted that was or is being used as bulletin board material it was posted by someone not associated with Milan.

All Milan needs to worry about is getting healthy and improving one game at a time. There will be people talking doom and gloom but that’s all it is… talk. We need to worry about us, get healthy and improve every week.

I'm guessing they did that to avoid Alcoa in the state championship game. 4a doesn't have an Alcoa, but they have a lot of quality teams.

That would be the knee jerk reaction and I definitely think that had some consideration in making the jump.  However, with realignment, everyone in Milan’s 3a region either moved up to 4a or down to 2A,.  3a is almost nonexistent in rural west tn with the new alignment so they really didn’t have much choice
