His name is Glynn Hillard he was #11 and scored the long TD at the end of the Championship game.   https://www.unapproved website.com/high-schools/huntingdon-mustangs-(huntingdon,tn)/football/all_time_roster.htm  scroll down to the 2012/13 roster .    I timed stamped his run at the end.  They said in the broadcast he is a Sophomore but they are wrong as you can see by the rosters he was on

And11-12 says he’s a freshman. But I don’t know what this has to do with anything anyway. But the fact of the matter is he was a sophomore in the championship game not a jr.

and 13-14 it says senior..   Ya'll had a 19 year old playing wing back that season ,, lol 18 year old Sophomores are rare congratulations...I guess

Seriously I can't believe TSSAA rejected the Stanks appeal of his ineligibility as a 20 year old...   Oh wait I mean I can't believe ya'll tried to appeal..  Don't claim he did it either he obviously wasn't capable of writing an appeal

You should see about scheduling the Stangs for a one and one.   They will let you known how physical your team is real fast.  Thats even when they are "in a down year"

I dont make the schedule but we aren't as scared as you are I assure you. We played once upon a time.

Look forward to going to Camden tomorrow night.

If huntingdon is as good as I’m hearing, will they be able to beat Trenton their next game?

I just think they will force their will on Westview physically  just like they did to Waverly a few years back(2 years in a  row). It is hard to find a rhythm when the other team marches down the field run after run after run. I don't think they can out Physical Peabody at the line. I have been wrong many times in life and this is just my opinion of course.

You can answer that after tomorrow night.

Yep
I want you to know I respect your teams and program very much.

The fans are dumb as rocks for the most part.   I have sat on your side among  them and if ignorance about football  and just plain stupid comments about coaching  were currency Huntingdon would be the richest place on earth

    • What you are saying is true about high school athletics being a privilege and not a right, but NO ONE ever knows what will happen if a case goes before a jury.  Again, I have been in a couple of jury rooms and it's always a little crazy.  That is why my prediction is you will see a settlement before the case goes to trial.
    • What rules does everyone not operate by?
    • So you want a have and have not split? Sound like the perfect ramp to elitism. Tell those rural kids that they'll never be able to compete with those urban kids. They're not good enough right? Or we could just do what travel baseball does and have tournaments every weekend and give kids big fake rings for winning a few games. The suburban public schools are typically the ones with more funds. Urban and rural schools have more in common in finances than they do with rural schools. I've taught and coached in all of it. The difference is attitude. But if you're jsut going to say you can't compete because you don't have the money then that's an excuse. Especially in basketball. The balls are the same size, the rims are the same height and size. The ball dribbles the same in some rural gym in mountains as it does in the FedEx forum. Charters come and go like a fart in the wind. They are no real threat to anyone. Magnets could be but rarely do they win either. It just hasn't been seen in Tennessee.
    • That’s a good line. Wins would be Soddy, Howard, and Ooltewah. Maybe East Ham again or Knox Central. Tyner maybe but being that late in the year it’s hard to say. I don’t think we get by Red Bank this year.    Rhea could be anywhere from 2-8 to 6-4.
    • I agree with the Farragut and Bradley claim. Those will both be wins. Bearden like you say is depending on when you get them in comparison to when the wheels fall off.  As far as West goes I’m 50-50. They have been able to reload so far so until they show me they haven’t I can’t count them out.
