Not really- top two seeds get 1st Rd home games. But a win will get you home field through at least the 3rd round. I’m super happy to be back playing West Tennessee meaningful games in the regular sea

Well  Camden played Westview and I really wasn't impressed at all.They were not physically better than us and we are not that physical.. Camden fumbled 7 or 8 times deep in our end (bad snaps nothing  forced}. Westview really never drove the field. They had a few big runs. Most folks I know left saying how they didn't see what they thought  an Alabama signee would look like.  I know they played y'all well and that gives me pause but I am guessing that y'all didn't play your best by a long shot, am I wrong?

Huntingdon's problems were with youth to start the season. By now those problems are played out. They are physical yearly.  In the end it is a semi educated guess tbh

Croppy is never realistic.  You know this.  How do they figure you guys went from runner up with a new coach to firing him a year later?  lol  Crazy 2 years in covidland.

They beat you guys 41-0. I’m sure they weren’t risking anything when they didn’t have to.

I guess I'm not very realistic. Most west Tennessee fans and a lot of Huntingdon fans had the Mustangs pegged as a so so squad. Most of our fans with our schedule thought a .500 season would be good. I thought different. Heck we returned almost are everybody and had a very good group of seniors who are very dedicated to their game plus a sophomore and freshman bunch that are special. Our starting QB and safety are both freshmen. This team has improved every game and will light you up. Dont know if we beat the Chargers or not but I feel pretty good about it.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
