I'm not pujo but I firmly believe Cloudland has a very good chance at a Semi final birth.Their strength is their line play and RBs.CF like us are not strong up front. One of us maybe able to out athlete them but neither one of us can run it like Cland.

I concur. Key to beating Cloudland is stopping the run and being able to throw the ball a little. All about matchups.

Worst conditions I've ever witnessed at Cloudland was a Midway game ,had nothing to do with sprinklers, was soooooo bad they had to ply at HV the next week. Think Cloudland did use the sprinklers against you guys one time, think that was the only time its ever happened.

Yeah 2011 we were very fast that year and an easy 40 points better than Cloudland and escaped with a 12-0 win on the worst field I had ever seen.Ole 91 told me that was their only hope was to "SLOW" us down.It rained on that field 24 hours straight. lol.It almost worked. The next year at GB we had 40 on them at half!

Ask me how I know.lol

I've heard and experienced the same at Catholic in 89 in the 2nd round.  It hadn't rained in a week. Lol.  Back when Pug Woods played for them, man, how far they have came since then. We beat them 42- 0 if I'm not mistaking.  Maybe 42-12, I can't remember exactly.

I seen a picture of the field, looked like a thousand head of cattle had tromped through a swamp.

And both teams took great care of the ball. Don't think either team fumbled.

When SP played in the Semis at Cloudland, the field was really clean . . . because it was frozen.   The should have brought their ice skates instead of cleats.

    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
    • Lieutenant Flip flops is on a roll. #1 recruiter in Anderson Co, fo-sho.
    • Has there been any effort to contact college coaches other than Trevecca?
    • 5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
